Lawrence Jordan and Morning Star Books have a long history making successful sports books. We have been responsible for books such as My Life And The Beautiful Game, Pele, the international soccer star’s, autobiography; and books from Sparky Anderson, the Hall of Fame manager of the Cincinnati Reds and Detroit Tigers; Luis Tiant, then of the Boston Red Sox; and Ferdie Pacheco, “The Fight Doctor,” Muhammad Ali’s ringside physician.

Chronology Sports Records Publishing, LLC was formed by John Mercurio and Lawrence Jordan to publish a new series of Team Record Books chronicling every record in hitting, pitching and fielding by every player who has played baseball since major league baseball began, and reissue all of Mercurio’s previous books. The first new team book, A Chronology of New York Mets Records, will be published as an EBook in Fall 2015, followed by books on the Kansas City Royals, Chicago Cubs, St. Louis Cardinals, Los Angeles Dodgers, Houston Astros, Texas Rangers, Toronto Blue Jays, New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, Minnesota Twins and Seattle Mariners . . .
